Please answer these questions as fully as possible. More information is better than less information.

Why do you want to participate in the missions cohort? What do you hope to gain from it?

Why do you want to do the cohort now? If you were not selected for this cohort would you be able to participate in a future year?

How long have you been a member of Clifton? Describe your involvement in the body here. Do you consider Clifton to be “your” church? Why?

How certain are you that you should be involved in missions? Why?

How have others at Clifton interacted with your desire to be a missionary? Who specifically has encouraged you? Has anyone, at Clifton or otherwise, expressed concerns? Please explain.

Describe any cross-cultural experience you have had.

Do you have a desire to work with a specific people or in a specific geographical area? Why? How open are you to other options?

Have you pursued a relationship with, or applied with, a specific missions organization? If so, who? How far along are you in that process?

The following question is for married applicants.

Does your spouse have the same sense of calling to missions as you do?

The following question is for male applicants.

If you are planning to go overseas in an elder-qualified role, are you hoping to participate in Clifton’s pastoral internship? If so, when?
