Ministry Team Form Fall 2021

Thank you for your interest in serving on a Ministry Team at Clifton Baptist Church. We wish to be pleasing to the Lord in serving one another and our community. Please note this form is designed to be filled out individually and by current members. If you are not yet a member, please wait to provide your responses until a later time. Once submitted, the deacons and staff will receive your entry and you can expect to be contacted with more information.

Read the following Ministry Team purpose statements and check any of the teams you are interested in. Though past experience and skills are not necessary to serve on specific teams, we'd love to know about any experience, training, or gifts you may have! Please include it in the provided text boxes.

Building Team – The purpose of the Building Team is to steward the building at 1947 Frankfort Ave by overseeing a proactive plan for scheduled maintenance and a responsive plan for problems in the building. Are you interested in the Building Team? Yes

Finance Team – The purpose of the Finance Team is to count, record, and deposit the weekly offering. Members of the Finance Team serve in pairs on a rotational basis. Are you interested in the Finance Team? Yes

Greeting Team – The purpose of the Greeting team is to welcome and direct members and guests during public gatherings, anticipating needs related to navigation, seating, and facilities. Are you interested in the Greeting Team? Yes

Grounds Team – We need a group of folks gifted in bringing beauty to green spaces to carry out seasonal tasks (not cutting the grass). Are you interested in the Grounds Team? Yes

Hospitality Team – The purpose of the Hospitality Team is to facilitate fellowship around shared meals for the congregation, for both regular and special occasions. Are you interested in the Hospitality Team? Yes

Media Team – The purpose of the Media Team is to provide online media content produced at Clifton to edify people both inside and beyond our fellowship. Are you interested in the Media Team? Yes

Member Care Team – The purpose of the Member Care Team is to train and oversee members offering counsel and care to other members experiencing difficulty. Are you interested in the Member Care Team? Yes

Comments for Deacon/Pastor of Member Care:

Missionary Care Team – The Missionary Care Team is intended to be a team of 4 to 5 in addition to the deacon, where each person is the main connection point with 2 to 3 people or families on the field. This would include: regular contact to help keep the congregation informed regarding how to pray, connecting them with the deacon and elders when needed, coordinating needs when they come in town, and possibly other things. Music Team – The purpose of the Music Team is to lead people to praise God in song by telling of who he is and what he has done in Jesus Christ. Are you interested in the Music Team? Yes

Ordinances Team – The purpose of the Ordinances Team is to facilitate logistically the practice of communion, of baptism, and of the offering in public worship services. Are you interested in the Ordinances Team? Yes

Outreach Team – Outreach Team – We need a group of folks gifted in evangelism and engagement to help our church expand our regular opportunities for relating to folks in our community to tell them about Jesus. Are you interested in the Outreach Team? Yes

Security Team – The purpose of the Security Team is to facilitate the safety of people gathered for services by practicing vigilance for potential threats and responding competently to actual ones. Are you interested in the Security Team? Yes

Sound Team – The purpose of the Sound Team is to facilitate the public proclamation of Christ in teaching, preaching, prayer, and song through skillful use of media technology. Are you interested in the Sound Team? Yes

Special Assistance Team – The purpose of the Special Assistance Team is to help members and regular visitors who have impaired mobility, vision, or disabilities to participate in regular church services. Are you interested in the Special Assistance Team? Yes

Worship Preparation Team – We need a group of folks who think logistically and hospitably to refresh the different worship and classroom spaces on a regular basis. Are you interested the Worship Preparation Team? Yes

Missions Cohort – The Missions Cohort is intended for those who have a particular interest in overseas missions. Please note there is an application process for this Ministry Team. Yes

Men's Ministry – The purpose of the Men's Ministry is to help men grow in knowing, loving, and serving God, with specific consideration to their various roles, responsibilities, relationships, and seasons of life. Are you interested in receiving communication about future Men's Ministry events? Yes

Pastoral Internship – The Pastoral Internship is designed for men who intend to pursue Pastoral ministry in the future. Please note there is an application process and limited positions for this Ministry Team. Yes

Women's Ministry – The purpose of the Women's Ministry is to help women grow in knowing, loving, and serving God, with specific consideration to their various roles, responsibilities, relationships, and seasons of life. Are you interested in receiving information about future Women's Ministry events? Yes
